I know it's a little late, but I just went through my pictures from our New Year's Eve at Disney Land with my family. If you've never been to Disneyland I have some tips for you.
1. Get fast passes for Indiana Jones, Space Mountain, Tower of Terror, etc... and ride the non fast pass rides while you wait. Our favorite is Pirates of the Caribbean. Here we are riding Jungle Cruise while we waited for Indiana...
2. Don't be shy... wear the ears. No one will judge you.
3. Eat a lot. Get funnel cakes, Ice Cream, Turkey Legs (which aren't really turkey... can you guess what they are?) There is also a wine country area in California Adventure. If you want to sit and eat get reservations at Blue Bayou before you go. And if you know anybody with some pull, have them get you into club 33.
4. Spend some time on Main Street. Especially around Christmas.
5. Stay for the magic at night. Disney does it right.
